That is a wonderful update.
Enjoy the movie together
Hugs to you and your little ones.
today is the end of my son's 3 -1/2 year treatment for leukemia.
we had a small party at the hospital with nursing staff and a few friends.
it has been a great day with the exception of getting walking pnemonia from his sister.
That is a wonderful update.
Enjoy the movie together
Hugs to you and your little ones.
this video will be played at one of the clam meetings in march 2016.. the content is kind of old news because it is a recut version of a previous video produced for the elder's school.
however, it's still significant because it shows that the organization still has dissenting brothers in positions of leadership.. my thanks to the leaker.
feel free to claim credit here.
As maddening as it , I am not surprised .
They play the doctor with many mental health issues.
They play the Police when it comes to the molestation of children.
The two issues can overlap.
[they also play marriage therapists , experts on the use of blood and the alternatives, child therapists... you get it]
At times I do.
As long as I can keep my distance.
When my space/calm is invaded I lose control of my emotions.
I don't like feeling hatred, but I do with them.
dear friends:.
i imagine by now we old timers have adjusted to the fact that we are getting older and, one day, will make our exit.
are your "senior moments" ever a cause for worry to you?
It's funny when my dad says I am having a senior moment..
I cant argue with him , since I don't remember.
Talk about rubbing it in..smile
ha... I still win
what do you think of the phrase " you don't have all the facts, and i am not in a position to tell you what i know"?.
has this phrase ever been used with you?
i have my own opinions at present but i don't want to express them yet as they are subject to change.. kate xx.
I have heard this before.
It really boils down to who said it.
If it's a close friend, one that understands you. It's telling you to be cautious .
If not, it most likely is something not in your best interest.
if jw`s come knocking at your door, do you open it & engage in conversation, tell them to sod off, or just not answer the door?.
my husband`s has asked me not to answer the door to them if he isn't here?
he hate`s the fact that they make a point of calling when they know he will be at work.
Me ... I don't answer
I remember reading about a young scally of a lassie answering the door with out her knickers.
Kind of admire her spunk and brazenness
:-)
dear fellow posters and friends:.
a friend had been making excellent recovery after hospitalization and rehab.
then, some 6 weeks later, while an infection set in, he had to return to hospital.
I have seen this too CoCo
Sometimes issues come up while in treatment.
Possibly an old one or a new one from a weakened immune system
Take care of you and your Friend

a few years after i quit the meetings my mum needed her medical directive signed and witnessed and she asked if i'd do it.
i was surprised to say the least!.
i think she was just angling to include me and maybe find some lever to get me involved again.
I doubt any family member would put me in that situation, as they know my views.
If they did, I would look at it as a sign and would do whatever it takes to keep them alive. That would just come so automatic.
[one of the first things I did while exiting was tear up that bloody card.]
Gratefully, my kids are out, so no worries there.
i kid you not!!!!!
my family, and i, were on our way to my wife's brothers house today, which is the families christmas tradition.
we open presents in the morning, and at around 10:30, we head over to my brother in laws for breakfast/brunch, with all the family.. so, as we loaded some presents up in the car, and we all jumped, and drove away, at the end of my block, jehovahs witnesses!
That's my experience to Billy.
C.O. is in town , you are going out in service .
It happens on New Year's too, or a minor holiday .
The unlucky Kiddo Pubs.
and to the one that posted that going out as a child during this time will make you hate service .. You already hate it . it's a sort of cherry on the top .. smile/not
i used to enjoy being able to distinguish different local accents, but for some reason i've got worse at it.
i was thinking about this today when i was listening to bette midler on the scottish radio.
i thought to myself i quite liked her accent and also that it reminded me of someone else.
I don't have an accent . I'm from California. ;-)
But if I am around people from other places, or travel; I pick up their accent . That can be awkward and funny.
Kind of also saying, it can be hard to tell were people originate.
I love asking people were they are from when I hear something out of my ordinary.
A few days ago, I asked a Lady were she was from , she had me guess and I got it . She was from the Ukraine. I also met a unique couple ( by asking the same question) from Slovenia and got an interesting lesson on WW1.
